The Best Workplace Safety Training in the Safety Industry

 

Our workplace safety training programs are designed to help individuals properly respond to sudden illnesses or injuries that occur in the workplace. The courses give individuals the knowledge and skills to recognize, prevent and provide basic first aid for injuries or illnesses until emergency medical personnel arrive. All of our courses are instructed by a State licensed emergency medical services instructor coordinator and are conducted on your site for the convenience of your employees. We will schedule classes on any shift to meet the needs of your organization and employees. The following courses are offered as a part of our workplace safety training program.

Standard First Aid with CPR

This course covers basic first aid procedures that will prepare individuals in the workplace to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses while waiting for emergency medical services personnel to arrive. The course is designed to be taught in approximately 5 hours. This course includes adult CPR and breathing emergencies to include first aid for choking.

Standard First Aid with CPR and AED

This course includes all of the components of the above standard first aid course with the addition of training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The AED is used to treat victims of sudden cardiac arrest until the arrival of advanced medical personnel. Many organizations including schools, businesses, commercial outlets and private industries are beginning to realize the importance of having life saving AED's on site. This training will prepare your personnel to use the AED's that you select. We also offer information and guidance to organizations who are considering an AED purchase and implementation. This course is designed to be taught in approximately 6 hours.

Adult CPR

This course is designed to prepare participants to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in the adult until advanced medical care arrives. It is designed to be taught in approximately 3 hours.

Adult CPR with AED

This course includes all of the components of the above adult CPR course with the addition of training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The AED is used to treat victims of sudden cardiac arrest until the arrival of advanced medical personnel. Many organizations including schools, businesses, commercial outlets and private industries are beginning to realize the importance of having life saving AED's on site. This training will prepare your personnel to use the AED's that you select. We also offer information and guidance to organizations who are considering an AED purchase and implementation. This course is designed to be taught in approximately 4 hours.

First Aid

This course covers basic first aid procedures that will prepare individuals in the workplace to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses while waiting for emergency medical services personnel to arrive. The course is designed to be taught in approximately 3 to 4 hours. This course does not include training for adult CPR or choking emergencies.

Ergonomics

This course is designed to give individuals in the workplace the knowledge necessary to identify and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders relating to repetitive motion and other workplace conditions. The course is designed to be taught in approximately 1 hour and can be an add on to any other workplace training course we offer. It can also be presented as an individual course.

Slip, Trip, & Fall Prevention

This course is designed to assist individuals in the workplace with identifying and preventing the risk of slips, trips, and falls. The course is designed to be taught in approximately 1 hour and can be an add on to any other workplace training course we offer. It can also be presented as an individual course.

Preventing Disease Transmission

This course is designed to provide information to individuals that will help them protect themselves against exposure to infectious diseases while providing first aid in an emergency. This program is designed to be flexible and meet the needs of your organization. Please contact us to determine the type and length of training appropriate for your organization.

Oxygen Administration

This course is designed to give individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to administer oxygen and use aids to assist ventilation in a medical emergency until advanced medical care arrives. The course is designed to be taught in approximately 2 hours and can be an add on to any other workplace training course we offer. It can also be presented as an individual course. We will train individuals to use the oxygen therapy equipment you have on site and can offer advice if you are considering purchasing oxygen therapy equipment.
